Partial Fuel Filling .. Continued

I didn't expect that I will be writing the second part of the previous post.

We went to HSR Layout petrol bunk (on Outer Ring Road, near Mantri Sarovar) to fill our car last week. This time I was very careful and got down from the car and asked for 1000/-. (I already decided that I will give cash and not card to avoid any distractions.)

He started at '0', but when the meter came to 600, one person came and said that the front right tyre is having less air. He doesn't know that it is a one-week old new car and rarely used and hence no chance of having less air.

Another guy asked my wife who is in the front seat to check the door as it is not closed properly. We have locked the doors when we started from home and she didn't open door on her side.

What else proof do we need that they want to distract us from watching the meter and set to 1000 directly from 700?

So be careful... Always check 0.... .
Never take off your eye from the meter....
In the end check both litres and amount (Amount can be easily changed at any time)
Never give card in between....
Never accept partial filings (The first one is most probably the reading filled for previous person)
